Using disciplined, fundamentals-based thinking, we build customized investment portfolios to help individuals and institutions meet their goals.

Our approach dynamically allocates across a wide range of asset classes including equity, fixed income, and alternative assets to maximize opportunities. We use individual securities, mutual funds, or a combination of both to fine-tune each client's portfolio to allow for individualized exposure to certain asset classes or holdings based on their unique situation. We offer unbiased, independent fee-based advice as well as a comprehensive brokerage solution.

We invest in large, mid, and small cap domestic equities as well as international and emerging markets. Large cap equity investments often participate in MB’s individually managed stock portfolios which focus on companies that have attractive efficiency and valuation measures. Mid and small cap domestic equities, as well as international and emerging market equities, are dynamically managed through high-quality institutional-class mutual funds.

Fixed Income

Total return and consistency across the interest rate cycle are essential to our fixed income management. Core fixed income investments are often individually managed bond portfolios that emphasize higher coupons and lower durations when compared to the broad market. Supplementing core fixed income are investments in institutional-class bond mutual funds
for high yield, Treasury Inflated Protected Securities (TIPS), foreign and emerging market debt.

To supplement investments in equities and fixed income, we include alternative investmentsfootnote such as commodities, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and absolute return strategies. Alternative assets traditionally move independently of stocks and bonds, thus enhancing the risk-adjusted returns of our investment strategies over intermediate and long-term investment horizons. Our alternative strategies are dynamically managed through institutional-class mutual funds.
