No Monthly Service Charge for MB High Five Checking When You Do One of the Following

  • Make monthly deposits totaling $100 or more3, or
  • Maintain an average balance4 in this account for the statement cycle of $250 or more, or
  • Have a parent or guardian as a joint owner who also has an open MB personal checking account who maintains an average balance of $1 or more
    Otherwise, there is a monthly service charge of $5.95

3 Qualifying deposits include any combination of the following, totaling $100+ per statement cycle: teller deposits, direct deposits, ATM deposits, incoming wire deposits or if parent/guardian (co-signer) maintains an average balance of $1 or more in another MB personal checking account.
The balance in your account consists of all deposits, plus interest credited to your account, minus all withdrawals and other debits from your account at the close of the business day. The average balance is calculated by adding the balance in your account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period. 
5 Enrollment in E-Documents will result in electronic delivery of statements and designated notices. Tax documents will continue to be delivered in paper form.
